A Little History
Blackburn Leather opened its doors at 18 Rissik Street (next to The Red Plate Restaurant) in late December 2017. The little shop showcases a range of high quality hand crafted leather belts, handbags, rifle slings, and décor items direct to the public.Colin Blackburn (52, farmer/game ranger) originally from Zimbabwe - a master leather craftsman, together with locally born and bred mountain girl wife Janet (55, previously in the property industry) have for the last three years been transforming Colin’s “25 year hobby” from micro-business into a very popular local brand.
